12 year old girl, only child of non-consanguineous parents, father diabetic, less urine output, swelling of feet of 15 days duration.

ULTRASOUND ABDOMEN

Right kidney measures 10.3 x 4.3 cms.
Left kidney measures 10.0 x 4.9 cms.
Normal sized kidneys with minimal increase in parenchymal echoes with prominent renal pyramids.
Bilateral Pleural Fluid
Mild to moderate ascites |
The child was treated with a specific drug from 26th May 2005
On 24th June urine routine was repeated and found to have no albumin.
On 3rd July
Urine routine showed albumin - trace
Urine spot calcium / creatinine < 0.2
