| Paediatric nephrology clinic has been setup to provide comprehensive care to paediatric patients (children) with kidney diseases. This is headed by an experienced and renowned Paediatric
Kidney Specialist Dr. M. Vijayakumar, M.D., D.C.H., D.M., from Chennai.
Dr.M.Vijayakumar has many years of experience in treating children with
kidney diseases. He is a well recognised teacher in this field. He conducts
outpatient consultation service for children with kidney diseases on the first
and the third Sundays of every month. On all other days, new and
old patients (children with kidney diseases) are examined and treated by
Dr. K. S. Ramalingam, Nephrologist.
Patient and parent education along with their active involvement in the management of the cases is an important service provided by the clinic. The parents are explained in detail the changes in the diet, which are needed for treatment of renal problems.
A high quality of service is thus being provided at Coimbatore Kidney Centre by very senior Nephrologists taking care
