Healing is our goal, and we achieve it through personalised care.

Founded by dedicated physicians, we focus on personalised patient care aimed at offering quality healthcare with an emphasis on constant medical supervision of our patients’ condition and well-being and providing a quick diagnosis.

We discuss the disease, its treatment and future health with our patients and their families. Financial counselling and estimated hospital costs are discussed to ensure patients and families understand and accept the prognosis and cost. Our physicians and support staff monitor patients round the clock to prevent any complication.

Our approach is patient-centric, in which we strive to heal and not just treat. To this end, we design and deliver care around the needs of our patients and their families. This is made possible by our committed staff—the medical, non-medical and laboratory professionals. Our founders, known for their meticulous, no-nonsense approach to laboratory medicine, see to it that the diagnostic wing of the hospital (Medserve) gives results which are unquestionably correct and reliable.

Our History

The hospital was established to primarily provide comprehensive and most advanced treatment to patients with kidney and urinary tract diseases. It is recognised as a transplant centre by the Tamil Nadu Government. It is the first stand-alone kidney disease hospital in the country, and a pioneer in renal and urology services. It has also been one of the few hospitals to have an extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL) facility in the region.
Founded in 1991 as a 25-bedded hospital, it had a dedicated dialysis section, intensive care unit (ICU), three operation theatres, post-transplant wards, general wards, special wards and a large diagnostic laboratory. To this day, the diagnostic laboratory provides transplant immunology and transplant histopathology services to the hospital.

The first major expansion of the hospital took place in 2016 with the addition of 40 beds alongside the modernisation of the ICU, the operating theatres and inpatient rooms. In 2017, a full-fledged Transplant Immunology department was setup.

In 2018, the hospital expanded further bringing in additional departments. Obstetrics and Gynaecology is the newest department, fully-equipped with a labour theatre and a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) and is headed by Dr Karpagam Murali. The hospital is seen continued growth, and now stands at a bed strength of 65.
